How to Add Your Favorite Lectures for Studying on the Go

March 12, 2018

The foundation of success in medical is acquiring as much knowledge as you can as efficiently as you can. LectureKeepr is a powerful and flexible tool that can provide you with quality content anytime, anywhere.

In this post I’ll cover how to get started with LectureKeepr and how to make the most of your membership so you can start winning in med school.

Getting Started

Your LectureKeepr membership includes two components that, when utilized together, allow for seamless studying on the go. First is the LectureKeepr app, available for free on the app store. The second is the dashboard, found at dashboard.lecturekeepr.com.

Once you’ve downloaded LK from the app store, register an account on the log in screen. Once registered, you’ll see all the classes. If your school has a partnership with us, each of these classes will be filled with materials for you to listen to already. If your school doesn’t have a partnership, it might be time to transfer. Just kidding! Your school is the best, and it's gonna be even better with a LK partnership (click here to set one up!).

With your login info, you can now access your dashboard at dashboard.lecturekeepr.com. We’ve made it easy to add lectures from your school or your favorite professors online.

Hit the big green “Add Lecture” button to get to the upload screen. Here you can choose a lecture from your computer, or simply drag and drop! Add a nifty title and then you can smack that start button to begin upload.

Once the green bar fills up, hit Submit and your lecture will be ready to play anywhere from the mobile app!

Here are some of our favorite resources for lectures to add to your dashboard and study on the go

Louisville Lectures: From the same school as the author of First Aid for Step 1, Dr. Tao Le, this resource allows you to download medical lectures as podcasts so you can add them to your dashboard.

UCSD Education Technologies: Lectures from UC San Diego are available on a plethora of different topics for public use and download.

Good luck out there!
